Roy Chua is Founder and Principal at AvidThink, an independent research and advisory service formed in 2018 out of SDxCentral's research group. Prior to co-founding SDxCentral and running its research and product teams, Roy was a management consultant working with both Fortune 500 and startup technology companies on go-to-market and product consulting.  As an early proponent of the software-defined infrastructure movement, Roy is a frequent speaker at technology events in the telco and cloud space and a regular contributor to leading online publications. A graduate of UC Berkeley's electrical engineering and computer science program and MIT's Sloan School of Business, Roy has 20+ years of experience in telco and enterprise cloud computing, networking and security, including founding several Silicon Valley startups.

Nav Chander is responsible for leading service provider marketing, positioning Silver Peak as a key enabling channel for service providers to expand managed service offerings, become more customer centric and identify new use cases for driving revenue streams.   Prior to joining Silver Peak Chander served as the research manager for enterprise, telecommunications and networking at IDC where he led the managed network services, virtualized services and worldwide networking infrastructure research programs including SD-WAN.   Chander has had over 20 years of product management and product marketing experience in driving new products and services to market at leading and start-up telecom, networking and managed service vendors throughout his career. He has an undergraduate engineering degree and MBA from the University of Ottawa, Canada

Hector Avalos has over 25 years of experience in the computing, networking and telecommunications industries. He currently holds the position of VP EMEA Sales and Business Development at Versa Networks. His current activities are focused on “virtual CPE”, “Software-Defined WAN” and “Software-Defined Security” solutions for Service Providers and Enterprises.   Prior to Versa, Hector worked 4 years at Ericsson as “Head of technology, architectures, solutions and strategy”, and 9 years at Juniper Networks as “Technical Director”.   Hector possesses a BSc. in Computing Science from ‘UDLA’ Mexico.

Sue leads portfolio marketing of SDN/NFV at Netcracker responsible for the go-to-market strategy to help generate business growth and drives strategic initiatives across the SDN/NFV and operations business groups.   She brings over 20 years of experience in the telecoms industry, spanning a variety of roles including product management, strategy and technical sales. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of technologies from SDN/NFV to edge and core networking and 5G with a strong focus on business strategy.   Sue has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic Engineering with Communications from the University of Sheffield in the U.K.

Manish Aggarwal,

Manish Aggarwal is Assistant Vice President, Technology at Altran, a global design and engineering company and has 19 years of industry experience in Datacom & Telecom Domain.   Currently, he is working as a Solution Architect and his responsibilities include technology consulting, solution creation & service offering definition in the areas of SDN, NFV, Cloud & DevOps.   He also has significant knowledge and experience in architecture, product development and integration services for different kinds of Switching / Routing Solutions in Access, Aggregation & Core networks. Additionally, he has led successful solution integration and development teams at Altran for its multiple Tier-1 OEM customers across various geographies.   Manish has extensive experience in speaking at international conferences. His most recent talks were at Network Virtualization Europe Summit in Madrid and SDWAN Summit in Paris in 2018.   He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi.

Amir Zmora CEO & Co-founder of flexiWAN, the first SD-WAN Open Source. Until recently, Amir was CEO & Co-founder of SwitchRTC, a Real-time, interactive WebRTC based video CDN and B2B/B2C collaboration solution acquired by YouNow.   Among his previous positions, Amir was VP Products & Marketing for the Technology Business Unit of RADVISION, an Avaya company.  Amir is the author of TheNewDialTone and founder of several technology and informational websites around SD-WAN and WebRTC, among others, SDnetIndex which offers a structured free listing of SD-WAN related products and services.

After 15 years working in different Service Providers network Departments, Gregory started in 2016 to work on web-scale networks and Infrastructure as Code.   Now at the head of Italtel France Technology department, he works on IT infrastructure solutions integration that can increase Quality of Experience and be more easily managed via CI/CD automation.

Mike is a senior analyst in 451 Research’s Applied Infrastructure and Dev Ops team covering enterprise networking. He has extensive experience reviewing and writing about enterprise remote access, security and network infrastructure products as well as consulting with enterprise IT, equipment and software vendors, and service providers.   Prior to joining 451 Research, he was with GlobalData as Research Director with the Global IT Technology & Software team covering the Enterprise Networking and Data Center Technology markets. Mike was with TechWeb for over 15 years finishing as Editor of Network Computing. He was Lead Analyst with InformationWeek Analytics, Senior Technology Editor with Network Computing and Executive Editor for Secure Enterprise. He has spoken at several conferences including Interop, SD-WAN Summit, MPLS + SDN + NFV World Congress, SDN NFV World Congress, as well as to local groups. He served as the chair for Interop's Data Center and Storage tracks. He also teaches a network security graduate course at Syracuse University. Prior to Network Computing, Mike was an independent consultant.   Mike teaches a graduate course in network security at Syracuse University’s Information Science and Technology which presents a technical and theoretical overview of network security strategies and technologies and how network security can fit into an organizations overall IT architecture.   Mike graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors of Information Science and Technology.

Sébastien Tellier is responsible for defining the company’s products and services being offered, including managing the pricing strategy and coordinating between the different services for development, sales and marketing purposes. His expertise helps to identify business development opportunities for the company and leads the team to the next phase of innovation to fill market gaps as they present themselves.  Prior to joining Martello, Sébastien worked at Elfiq Networks, a pioneer in the field of SD-WAN technologies, until it was acquired by Martello in January 2018. Moving into the role of Head of Product Marketing at Martello, Sébastien was able to use his experience to bring fresh ideas for organic growth to the company. Sébastien is savvy in policy and market analysis, with an expertise in fieldwork.   Sébastien holds a Master of Science in Marketing from HEC Montreal.

Ritesh Mukherjee is Vice President of Product Management leading technology strategy at 128 Technology. His expertise includes routing/switching, data center, cloud, SDN/NFV, and IoT.   Prior to 128 Technology, Ritesh was Director, Network Solutions at Huawei leading their Technical Solutions Team.  Prior to that he was Manager, Product Management at Cisco responsible for LISP, Multicast, Routing, and other technologies across IOS, NX-OS, and IOS-XR.  Ritesh holds a PhD in Computer Science from Concordia University, Montreal.

Ronen Shpirer is responsible for Communication Service Providers (CSPs) and Cloud solutions marketing for Fortinet in EMEA. Ronen has over 20 years of international pre-sales and marketing experience in networkingand security in the CSP markets and enterprise markets.   Prior to joining Fortinet, he worked for a number of leading networking and VAS companies including Motorola, Cisco Systems, Bay Networks, and Comverse.   Ronen Shpirer holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Tel Aviv University. Mr. Shpirer is based at Fortinet’s EMEA headquarters in Sophia Antipolis, France.

Marius started his career as an MCSE and moved through scripting and internet design to finally settle on the networking portion of IT where his focus was Security. This is where he has spent the majority of his 20+ year career and what he is passionate about.  He spent time in the industry working for Training companies, Service Providers and Major Vendors in this space. For the last 8 years Marius was and is focused on L3 and L3 concepts and specifically around WAN edge automation.   In the last 2 years he has moved his focus to specifically SDWAN and the impact on the future of the Branch.

Oren Marmur is the Head of NFV at Amdocs, and leads all business and product-related activities in the Network Function Virtualization space, including NFV Orchestration, VNF Management, and NFV Ecosystem and Partnership program. He has also been leading all of Amdocs’ SD WAN-related activities as part of Amdocs overall NFV strategy, including key projects already deployed at several Tier-1 operator customers, where SD-WAN is the main use case being supported.   With over 20 years of experience in the telecom and optical industries, Oren has held several executive, business and technical-related positions and specializes in leading advanced technologies into successful execution, market penetration and strong business growth. Previous senior roles prior to Amdocs include CEO of Mishor 3D (developing an innovative Augmented Reality solution for the automotive market), and CEO of Mobix, a leading communication solution provider for the Smart-Grid and Smart-Metering market. Oren was also Head of the Optical Networking & CESR Line of Business at ECI Telecom, a leading supplier of networking infrastructure for carrier and service provider networks worldwide, and has successfully managed the transition of ECI’s Optical Networking business to become ECI’s major growth engine and one of the company’s most profitable businesses. Oren was also the Founder of FlexLight Networks, a venture capital-backed startup company that pioneered the GPON optical-access market.

Gint Atkinson is Vice President Network Strategy and Architecture and leads the transformation for SES’s 5G, virtualization, cloud, and network platform architectures that unify multiple satelliteconstellations and deliver 5G services from the edge to the cloud.   Prior to SES he was head of technology for Colt where he pioneered and launched the first large scale SDN, SD-WAN, and global Datacenter Interconnect services in 2012 offering on-demand elastic terabit services across 100 datacenters in Asia Pacific.   Gint has worked in the networking, mobile, and emerging media industries over 32 years as a serial entrepreneur and innovator for start-ups and large service providers including T-Mobile, NTT DOCOMO, AT&T, KDDI, Virgin Media and others where he has led the development and first to market launch of industry changing technologies and services.

Gail is a founder of Cavell and delivers advisory services to investors, boards and senior executives throughout EMEA. She leads Cavell’s SD WAN practice, which provides insight and advice to Service providers as well as engineering services for large enterprise SD WAN migrations.   Prior to Cavell she led Service Providers that disrupted the European Internet industry. She was President Europe, Level 3 Communications (CenturyLink) and VP, General Manager of International Networks for MFS International (Verizon). Gail is also focused on the governance of cyber risk and is a non-executive director for two public companies.

Rami has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry as a technology leader. Currently Rami serves as an advisor for few telecommunication companies.   He is also a member of the Board of Directors of MEF where he co-chairs the Global Marketing & Education Committee as well as the 5G Focus Group. Previously, Rami held various senior leadership positions in architecture, product strategy, and business development at NEC, Telco Systems, DragonWave, Axerra Networks, Carrier Access, and Paragon Networks.   Rami holds an MS in Computer Science and an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Haven.
